WHAT IS A CHAMPION GAME?

Each Champion Game lasts one hour.  Every game is 2 innings long.  Every Champion will bat each inning and scores each inning.  Homeruns are plentiful making Champions games very fun for players, buddies and fans.

All games are played at Stagecoach Park in Carlsbad.  Games are played on Saturdays only.

WHO IS A CHAMPION PLAYER?

We welcome all players with any medical and physical disabilities.  The CHAMPIONS program pairs all players with a BUDDY  who will help our CHAMPIONS have a great time learning and playing baseball.  BUDDIES are carefully selected to match the needs of the CHAMPIONS player.

Champion players can be aged 5-21.

LCYO Champions STEP UP Division

In our 5th season, 2017, we launched the STEP UP Division for our players that were ready for more independent play.  Players in this division are expected to be able to play without a 1:1 buddy.  Umpires are present for these games and award "High Five Plays" for making plays.  Our Step-Up Players have generally had 1-2 years of experience in the regular LCYO Champions game before stepping up.
